Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger. At the age of 9 till 16, she started being involved in the business of entertainment through modelling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors that received this instruction. After moving into Los Angeles, she got her first part in Beverly Hills, 90210. Then, she got the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she was able to do all her own stunts and established herself as an athlete.
