Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Colby worked as a reporter and anchor at CBS News, including as the fill-in anchor for CBS Up to the Minute. In the past, she was an CNN correspondent. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby was admitted as an attorney throughout New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. In 2002 she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her coverage of the attacks of 9/11. She also won the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 and she was awarded the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. She was also named Television Week's "Rising News Actor To Follow". Colby was an attorney, who as well as her work as a journalist, also worked for 10 years as a private practitioner. Her legal practice started with a Hollywood entertainment firm that assigned Colby the show The Tonight Show. She was 22 when she began working on behalf of Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC as well as during the divorce. From January of 2015, Colby has served as reporter and host on The Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance, which covers quirky or unexpected legacies left behind by friends or family
